The process

Precision is
deliberate.

The visible part is the cut. The real work is the sequence of decisions, measurements and checks that make the cut count.

A disciplined sequence

From first
conversation to first shot.

We keep the process clear. You tell us what the rifle needs to do; we establish what it needs, machine to the agreed specification and verify the finished work before it comes home.

Every job is scoped individually. There is no substitute for inspecting the rifle and understanding its use.

01

Assess

We review the action, current barrel, chamber, threads and any fitment constraints. Bring photographs and the rifle details to the initial enquiry.

02

Specify

Profile, length, chambering, twist, muzzle treatment and finish are considered against your discipline and the rifle’s intended role.

03

Machine

Modern CNC equipment provides the repeatability; experienced hands provide the judgement at every setup and transition.

04

Fit & finish

The barrel is fitted to the action and the agreed interfaces are completed with attention to alignment, protection and finish.

05

Verify

Dimensional and concentricity checks are completed, the work is reviewed and the return process is agreed with you.

Equipment & judgement

Technology gives us repeatability.

State-of-the-art equipment is only as useful as the people setting it up. Our approach combines modern CNC machining and measurement with the practical judgement that comes from working with precision rifles for decades.

  • Controlled, repeatable machining setups
  • Dedicated gauges and inspection tools
  • Concentricity and interface checks
  • Experienced review at every handover
“The aim is not simply to fit a barrel. It is to return a rifle that makes sense for the person behind it.”— RPA Defence / Rebarrelling team
